Maui born artist, Gary Mukai has always had a deep
passion for art. He received a B.S. in Art Education from Oregon State
University. He enjoys working in a variety of art mediums and in recent
years he has turned his focus toward designing and manufacturing fine
jewelry right here in his Maui studio. Integrating his drawing and
sculpting abilities to create "wearable" art has been both exciting and
rewarding. Gary has been the recipient of several design awards from the
Hawaii Jewelers Association and was honored with
Designer of the
Year, 2005-2006. |
